Cathy is an award-winning NB singer/songwriter who has released two critically acclaimed albums and is currently working on material for her third. She has performed multiple times at the ECMAs and just completed her third coast to coast, Canada-wide solo tour this past fall. Her setlist contains an eclectic blend of classic rock, blues, folk and country originals and covers, delivered with passion and finesse!

A solo acoustic performer as well as the singer for ALL, A Vulture Wake, and Drag The River, Chad enjoys many styles of music and likes to show that through his different bands and solo ventures. Jumping effortlessly from one extreme to another, his solo show is a soulful, heartbreaking, and beautiful trip through human emotions.

Colin Fowlie continues to evolve his craft as not only a singer, songwriter, recording artist, and touring performer but also as a music educator, mentor, and content creator. The unique character of his songs fuse elements of folk, rock, blues and Americana/Canadiana into a special blend of universally themed storytelling that, along with his down-to-earth personality, create magic that audiences adore.

Representing New Brunswick as a 2023 ECMA Nominee, Dee is a vocalist, composer, dancer, and performer of Latin Jazz R&B Pop Fusion. Her tasteful blend of Cuban roots, jazz influences, and world rhythms with splashs of R&B, funk, and pop is cultivated and born on the East Coast. The combination of her energy, her vibrant vocals, and the intoxicating cadence of Cuban music makes Dee Hernandez an explosion of fun artistic innovation and musical freedom.

Comprised of ECMA nominee Katherine Moller, Will Toner, Don LeBlanc, and Karl Gans, the group combines a melodious mix of Maritime music with contemporary arrangements of Celtic favourites and adds a generous helping of foot stomping fiddling.

A comedian from the middle of the woods of the Kingston Peninsula Jake has performed from coast to coast in Canada. He will be bringing a taste of sketch comedy to Dooryard with some oddball characters and excessive yelling. A graduate of St. Thomas University and the Second City Sketch Conservatory, he is a former member of the Canadian Comedy award-winning sketch comedy group, “The Sketchersons.” He currently performs improv in Fredericton with Dead Serious Comedy.

This award-winning writer, comedian, and filmmaker sells out venues with his uniquely hilarious stand-up show. His latest stand-up special, “Almost Canadian”, shot straight to #1 on the iTunes charts. He is a founder of Atlantic Canada's first-ever international magazine, [EDIT] and the host of the hit #1 TV series, “Atlantic Edition.” His podcast “Mullinger Meets Canadians” reached the Top 30 podcast charts and his memoir “Brit Happens - Living The Canadian Dream” was published by Goose Lane Editions in May 2022 to rave reviews.

Musician from Louisbourg, NS currently playing gigs from coast to coast all the while enthusiastically searching for the world’s best burrito. His most recent album, with the Flying Hellfish, was “Parti” released in 2020.

A self-taught woodworking artisan, crafting furniture, carvings and sculptures in his studio in Grafton, NB, relying largely on wood species native to the area such as basswood, pine and butternut. His work often features motifs which reflect the local history and culture and highlight the flora and fauna of western NB. Kerry feels a spiritual connection with nature, especially the trees which he considers a gift from the Creator that allows him to be an instrument of expression.

Two-time Canadian Folk Music Award nominee Mike Bravener began his career as a professional entertainer in 2003 at the age of 42. He won many awards as a professional Elvis Tribute Artist and was selected by Elvis Presley Enterprises as one of their top 20 artists in the world. Mike has released numerous albums featuring traditional Miramichi and New Brunswick folk music and has twice earned a Canadian Folk Music Award nomination for “Best Traditional Singer”. His most recent album is 2022’s “Have You Heard the Story.”

Nico Paulo is a Portuguese/Canadian songwriter, performer, and visual artist. She moved to Canada in 2014 to pursue her career and eventually moved east to become an essential part of Newfoundland’s celebrated music scene. Paulo’s highly anticipated, self-titled debut LP, which arrived in spring 2023, is a melodically dynamic, heart-baring collection that finds her exploring the interconnected nature of relationships and the flow of time in lush, sophisticated pop arrangements. The album has been nominated for a Polaris Music Prize, cementing it as one of the best albums of the year.

A tender chamber pop project based in Fredericton, NB the band uses a cello, viola, loopers and synthesizers, to create music that melds their love of songwriting with their classical training to create lush string-based pop songs. The band has taken a slow, steady approach to releasing music, most recently working with JUNO award-winning producer Joshua van Tassel on a collection of 9 songs that interweave layers of strings, bass,
synthesizers, and marimba-like percussion, due out this year.

2023 ECMA Entertainer of the Year nominee, Robert Thomas has been a published songwriter for 45 years. After a wonderful career writing for major artists, Thomas is now touring the original, as written, versions of his songs with his stellar band of favourite co-writers, The Sessionmen - Ray Leger, Jon Arsenault and Maxime Forbes. A master songwriter and entertainer at the peak of his craft, backed by a terrific band, Robert Thomas and the Sessionmen are a very special act, “not to be missed.”

A singer/songwriter with east coast roots, Seth blends elements of alt-country and indie-punk, anchored in catchy, truth-laden, heart-driven lyrics. Spending most of the last two decades immersed in the Rocky Mountains of Canmore, Alberta, and touring internationally, he now calls Calgary home. Performing solo or with his backing band, Seth’s sound is original yet familiar, and appeals to folks of all walks of life.

The Calithumpians are a theatre troupe based out of Fredericton who have been crisscrossing New Brunswick for over 40 years, offering unique performances that feature music and messages about our
local history, folklore, and social issues. The troupe of high school and university students are known for their exuberance and enthusiasm as they perform musical shows, walking tours, and their signature Haunted Hikes. Whenever the Calithumpians are around, expect fun for the whole family.

Originally formed as an Indigenous songwriters circle in late 2022, The Hello Crows feature Dylan Ward, Judie Acquin, Quinn Bonnell, and Matt Comeau. They explore the deeper inspirations and meanings of their songs both from their solo careers as well as new originals with powerful storytelling and humour.

The Hypochondriacs have a fresh and raw take to the standard country genre. Though profoundly influenced by early Rockabilly, they add a taste of 60’s doo-wop & 70’s folk-rock. Highlights include 2022 “Recording of the Year” PRIX NB Music Awards NOMINEE. Winner of the ‘Emerging Artist of the Year”, “Album of the Year”, ‘SOCAN Sound of the Year’ & ‘Country Artist of the Year’ by Music New Brunswick in 2017. This powerhouse group is made up of Josh Bravener, Jamie Guitar, Kelly Waterhouse, Jeannine Gallant, Connor Fox, and Andrew DeMerchant.

This short film was created and directed by Matthew Brown and Janice Wright Cheney, with an original score by Zachary Greer. Shot in various locations in the Wabanaki-Acadian forests of NB, it tells the dystopian tale of a naturalist who is determined to prove the existence of the fabled Eastern Cougar. Matthew Brown is a filmmaker based in Menagoesg/Saint John. Janice Wright Cheney is a visual artist based in Eqpahak/Fredericton. Zachary Greer is a composer based in Eqpahak/Fredericton.

The Martin boys are both brothers and best friends and it’s rare to see one without the other. From dance recitals at an early age to WHS musicals, music festivals, and a variety of other performances, they are no strangers to the stage. They love to entertain and are excited for a full summer of events.

Tracy Anderson, Amy Anderson, Cameron Corey, and Cassie Mann combine to offer a classy repertoire of jazz, rhythm, and blues. If you enjoy musical throwbacks to a bygone era, Tin Pan Darlings is the group for you! Their debut record, “Inside a Melody” is a fun and unique project that will transport you to an era full of speakeasies, heartening romance, and colourful characters. The Tin Pan Darlings received ECMA & Music NS nominations in 2018/19 for Inside a Melody.

Plaid and denim clad, The Tortoise, The Hare & The Millionaire are a southern rock group with a mix of blues and funk out of Fredericton NB. They have performed on iconic stages such as Harvest Music Festival, Area 506, and Larlee Creek Hullabloo and have opened for incredible artists like Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats, Ariel Posen, Amy Helm, Sloan, and K-OS to name a few.
